the Grower

Minterbrook has been a cornerstone company in the Key Peninsula and Gig Harbor area since its inception by the Hubert Secor family in 1932. Harold and Beverly Wiksten bought Minterbrook in 1954. They grew and expanded the company significantly over the next 58 years. ultimately selling to the Kingman family in 2012. The Kingman family hopes to uphold the rich family heritage of Minterbrook as the company transitions from a past of plenteous oysters to the present and future market conditions where shellfish are scarce and supply often cannot meet world demand.
