Charlie is one of our account managers and has been with Pangea for almost a year, but some of his coworkers feel like it’s been a lot longer than that.
He was born in Concord, Massachusetts, whose claim to fame is a grape. Charlie insists that Concord also played a large role in the Revolutionary War, but we think he’s just looking for attention. He now resides in Brighton, MA, which has no claim to fame at all.
Charlie’s favorite oyster is an up-and-comer out of Maine called Mere Points. “They are perfectly clean and salty, the meat is plump yet dense, and the shells are strong and consistent making for an easy open. Also, it's easy to spell, and I struggle in that arena.”
When Charlie isn’t slinging oysters or ignoring work-related questions from his coworkers in favor of telling them his weekend plans, or bouncing a rubber ball mindlessly, he enjoys playing, watching, or talking nonstop about Hockey. As a former failed-collegiate level player, he loves to regale the office with his stories from the glory days. He spends his summers clamming at his grandparents house in Popponesset Bay in Mashpee, MA, and he is so enamored with the activity, he has memorialized it with tattoos on his arms. He’s very eager to show off his “ sweet tatts” as long as you have tickets to his “gun show” as he says.
Additionally, he recently became the proud owner of a Bernese Mountain dog. He loves to show his coworkers pictures of his new puppy, while making it clear he does not want to see pictures of their adorable toddlers.
