Originally from the beautiful Caribbean city of La Ceiba, Honduras, Jorge’s journey into the culinary world started 15 years ago when he found himself at a restaurant with two job options: washing dishes or cooking. Having never cooked before but knowing he didn’t want to spend his time at the sink, he took a chance in the kitchen and it paid off. Not only did he discover a love for cooking, but he also realized how much he enjoyed seeing people appreciate his food.
Over the years, Jorge has embraced a wide range of techniques and flavors, always keeping his cooking simple yet delicious. His go-to seasonings? The basics - salt and black pepper - because when you start with great ingredients, sometimes that’s all you need. And when it comes to favorite dishes, he loves making pasta—easy to prepare, endlessly versatile, and always a crowd-pleaser.
Now, as part of our team, Jorge brings that same passion for food to Pangea. He understands the importance of quality ingredients, and he’s excited to share his own seafood recipes with you.
